Sophia Emy
Researcher · Brooklyn, NY

Hi, I’m Sophia.

I combine behavioral science and user research to understand everyday decision-making.

My focus is understanding and supporting meaningful, long-term behavior change — and translating what I find into design that actually holds.

About me

I study why people do what they do — and what helps them change.

I’m a researcher based in Brooklyn working at the intersection of behavioral science and user research. I’m drawn to the messy middle of behavior change: the gap between what people intend to do and what they actually do, day after day.

Across my work I move between qualitative interviews, surveys, and applied behavioral frameworks — then translate the findings into recommendations teams can act on.
